We specialise in single owner collections and can assist with down sizing and deceased estates. We handle every aspect of the consignment process with utmost care, ensuring that your items are presented in their best light, supported by comprehensive research and marketing strategies.

Pre-Sale Evaluation
Our highly qualified valuer and auctioneer Hannah Clayton Atkin determines what items can be consigned for sale at Swan Deverell. We have a minimum sale expectation of $200 - each item you wish to send to auction must have a value of not less than $200. Please note we do not accept large furniture items. As we only sell a select range of items, a pre-sale evaluation by our auctioneer is essential. Items you wish to consign must be located on the Central Coast, NSW or be suitable for shipping to our location.
Consignment
If, after the evaluation, you decide to sell with us we will arrange a time to pick up your items which will then be stored privately and securely. We will provide you with a copy of our Consignment Agreement. This paperwork gives us permission to sell your items on your behalf and details terms and conditions, and fees.
Reserves, Fees & Payment
A reserve price (a minimum price that a seller would be willing to accept from a buyer) can be considered for any lot with an estimate of over $500.
Our competitive vendor commission is 18.7% (including GST) of the sale price and we do not charge any additional lotting fees. Commission is not charged on unsold items. If your item does not sell, there is no cost to you.
After all payments have been secured from bidders you will receive a settlement statement itemising your results. We will make payment of proceeds directly in to your nominated bank account (minus any commission and fees) typically within 15 business days.
